No. 02 — The Approach

How I work a wedding.

Before the day

We meet to walk through your timeline moment by moment — entrances, dances, toasts, transitions — and build your music preferences into a plan your planner and photographer can rely on.

During the reception

I MC with a steady hand: names pronounced right, cues hit on time, no cringe. The music arcs from dinner warmth to full dance floor, adjusted live to your guests.

On the dance floor

No pre-made playlist can read a room. Age ranges, cultures, energy dips — I mix across genres and generations so everyone from your college friends to your grandparents stays out there.

No. 03 — The Rooms

Venues that know me.

I’ve DJed at venues across Southern California — which means your timeline, load-in, and sound requirements are already familiar territory.

Couples on their big day.

★★★★★
Our group of family and friends love to dance, and did so throughout the entirety of the night thanks to Henry’s ability to keep the party going with seamless transitions spanning multiple genres and cultures. Our wedding was one of the best people had been to.

DJ Henry is the utmost professional. He made sure we stayed on schedule through our grand entrance, first dances, speeches, and buffet release — the entire reception flowed effortlessly and without flaws. Even our elderly guests were on the dance floor all night.

Henry listened to every detail — he even monogrammed our names on the wall and made my dream of dancing on the clouds for our first dance come out perfectly. My sister loved him so much she booked him for her own wedding the next year.

Questions

Wedding questions.

Do you MC the reception too?
Yes. Grand entrance, first dance, toasts, cake cutting, buffet release, last dance — I make every announcement, hit every cue, and keep the night moving in coordination with your planner and photographer.
How do you handle our music preferences?
Before the wedding we build your must-play and do-not-play lists together and walk through every scheduled moment. On the night itself, nothing is pre-programmed — I read your guests and build the energy in real time.
Do you provide ceremony sound?
Yes — ceremony audio with wireless microphones for your officiant and readers, plus separate setups for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception when the spaces are different.
Does our venue need proof of insurance?
Many venues require it, and I carry full liability insurance. Your venue can have a certificate of insurance on request.
How do you make sure the sound is flawless?
Preparation, not luck: every piece of equipment is state-of-the-art, professionally maintained, and tested before it leaves for your wedding — the same discipline I bring to your timeline.
How far out should we book?
Prime spring-through-fall Saturday dates often book 6–12 months in advance. If your date is sooner, still reach out — cancellations and off-peak dates open up.
